Why the great Mughal emperor Shahjahan couldn’t make a “Begham Mahal” for his princess Mumtaz, Why did he make a “Maqbara” instead? Why he couldn’t make her feel special in her presence, why he did when she died? Then the Taj Mahal would have been a real symbol of eternal LOVE. But still, people go with the crowd flow, and couples still hold their hand in hand and click their photos, and come back. But how come a Maqbara becomes a symbol of love?

This thought made me write this. Often in our life, we fail to appreciate the importance of our loved one’s presence.

You are busy at work; you don’t call your parents. Your friends complain that you don’t give much time to them. You are unable to do the things you love, because again you are so called BUSY. But y do we just forget to do the most important thing in our life?  Taking out little time for our loved ones, who makes our life worth living. They are the people, who know you better than your office colleagues or business partners; than your 2 months old girlfriend or boyfriend. They are the ones with whom you share your good and bad, who knew you when you were nothing- your school and college friends. They are the ones who were there, when you needed a shoulder- your siblings. They are the ones, who pampered you and tried to fulfill all your desires in childhood – your grandparents. They are the ones, who do not need your introduction- your parents.

Then why not taking out time for them? If not an hour at least minutes?

So folks, take out some time from your so-called busy schedule and make them feel special in their presence, not when they are not there to sense or appreciate your love. Trust me, it will make your life worth living, else you are just moving towards the grave with empty hands. Step forward to the end with smiles, love, and satisfaction but not with any regrets.

Life is not future or the Past. It is just the Moment.

Sir,

The recent gang rape case has become the biggest national news, and has jolted the whole nation. But what is happening apart from pitying on that girl, or watching interviews of that guy, or discussing what actually happened at every street corner? What kind of country we are living in where there is no security and respect for a woman, who is also worshipped as Maa Durga in our country, instead, their safety is at a knife’s edge.

The girl was only 23 years old, she must have also dreamt of becoming a great doctor one day, serving her mother and father, marrying her love, becoming a mother, but all her dreams got washed away only because of some loathsome animals incognito as humans.

Sir, I have only one question in my mind. Now when the girl is dead, when she is no more in this earth, still the government is not bothered. Why so? Just because she does not belong to any MLA or MP family background? Because she belonged to a middle class family girl, her death is not worth fighting for? Is there any humanity left in our government? Is this what we called as a Democratic govt, which is for the people, and of the people?

It is the society, who has been enticing this ugly lie that it’s always the girl who should be blamed for. Because girls are out late nights, they wear jeans, they are out spoken, they are independent nowadays, these mishaps are happening. As if eve teasing, rape, molestation has only occurred at night not in day time, as if girls wearing salwar-kameez are secured than girls wearing jeans and top. These all are disgusting reasons to put blames on girls so that the Society can get a single person to put finger on. The problem is not with the girl’s sir, but it’s with the thinking of our society. Because even 5 years old girls have been undergone such mental torture, what will you say that it’s still that baby girl’s mistake and not the guy’s who is actually the reason behind that girl’s trauma? How long a girl is going to suffer these abuses every day....Be it a widower who can’t remarry as what society will say, Be it a bride where her parents are unable to satisfy the groom’s demands, are simply put into burn, Be it female foeticide and list goes on., it is that simple to kill a girl now a days and that difficult to punish those criminals.

This time we need a bigger jolt, a decision which will change the destiny of India, a revolution in the law and order system. There should be punishments according to the crime which has been done. It should be like tit for tat. But no, our government can never thinking of taking such harsh steps, it is against their laws, against their mythology and all. So what if a girl is raped brutally till death that is not considered as brutal according to the law, they are still thinking to take any action against it. Can you answer me sir, y it is like so? Of course a criminal deserves much greater punishment than only sitting, sleeping and eating in jail. You are handling the whole nation, u r the head, u have the power, and whet are you doing? Aren’t they noticing that this unnecessary delay of decision is actually leading to encouragements to other loathsome group? Is judiciary sleeping?

But one thing I want to reiterate that being a gal, I am not gonna sit at my home. I am not gonna be afraid of this situation, I will never afraid to go out at night. I have the right to live like a free bird, when a guy can go and have fun outside, why can’t a girl dream the same thing. I am not talking about the gender equality but I m talking about what is right and what is wrong.

It is your responsibility to handle this situation because you are now playing the god’s character here.
I want my questions to be answered, as being a free citizen of the independent country, I have the right to information and therefore looking forward to your reply.

Yours Sincerely,
Woman of India
